Phosphating agent is divided into iron phosphating agent, zinc phosphating agent and zinc manganese phosphating solution, each product has its different characteristics.

1. Iron phosphating agent, color phosphorus, we sometimes call iron coating agent. Iron phosphating agent has the advantages of low cost, good stability, easy operation and less pollution; the solubility product of iron phosphate is very small (Ksp = 1.3X10-2), and it can quickly precipitate from the liquid phase with high acidity at low temperature. Moreover, the phosphating liquid film has low porosity and good adhesion to paint, which is an excellent coating bottom layer, so iron-based phosphating is a very promising phosphating process.
2. zinc phosphating agent, ash phosphorus, we sometimes call zinc coating agent. At room temperature, a uniform and dense phosphating film can be formed on the surface of steel and zinc. The phosphating film is gray film, and the phosphating film is porous. When painting, the coating will penetrate into these gaps, the coating and phosphating film joint, resulting in strong shear and "anchoring effect". This is a very excellent coating bottom layer. It can enhance the adhesion and rust resistance of the paint. The product has a wide range of processes, rapid and uniform film formation. Each kilogram of concentrated liquid can process the surface of the workpiece 30-50 square meters.
3. Zinc manganese phosphating agent is suitable for automobile, motorcycle, household appliances and other parts. There is no need to paint or require good corrosion resistance in the atmosphere. The plating solution is stable, single composition, no accelerator, simple operation and management, small evaporation of plating solution, less phosphating sediment, good decoration, phosphating film is dark gray, dense, continuous and uniform. After phosphating, it is impregnated with dehydrated antirust oil without coating process, which can resist atmospheric corrosion.
Due to the requirements of environmental protection and energy saving, low temperature phosphating agent treatment has been the development direction of phosphating. High temperature and medium temperature phosphating has been studied abroad, but its process time is long, slag is much, and cost is high, which is not conducive to automatic production. In order to improve the quality of phosphating solution and reduce precipitation, the phosphating process has been developed to a low temperature, low slag, low energy consumption and high quality phosphating process. At present, the research and development of low temperature phosphating technology has attracted people's attention and become the main content of phosphating agent research. The key to the development of low-temperature rapid phosphating process is to study and select suitable accelerators to improve the chemical reaction rate at low temperature. Low temperature phosphating is characterized by low reaction efficiency and slow corrosion reaction, so the low temperature phosphating film is uniform and detailed.
