Classification of Phosphating and Influence of Phosphating Wastewater on Environment

Pickling and phosphating wastewater is commonly found in electrophoresis, spraying, chemical industry, electroplating and other enterprises, and its pollutants are complex and changeable. Due to their different production processes, some also contain a certain amount of heavy metals such as nickel ions, copper ions or lead ions, as well as surfactants and other pollutants, which are extremely harmful. Moreover, phosphorus can cause eutrophication of water bodies, make the oxygen content of water bodies drop rapidly, and seriously endanger the ecological environment. (Generally speaking, when the total phosphorus content in the water reaches20mg/LIt is considered eutrophication).

Phosphating agents can be broadly divided into seven categories:
(1) Normal temperature zinc phosphating agent: it can form gray, uniform and dense phosphating film on the surface of steel and zinc at normal temperature, which can be used as the bottom layer of paint to enhance the adhesion and rust resistance of paint.
(2) Ternary phosphating solution: special phosphating solution for cathodic electrophoresis, suitable for surface treatment of steel before cathodic electrophoresis. Heating 40-45°C use, 3-5 minutes to form a dense phosphating film, phosphating film has a strong acid and alkali resistance, has a good penetration rate, can significantly improve the binding force of the substrate and the coating.
(3) Iron-based phosphating agent: It is a light blue acidic liquid that can form a blue to iridescent phosphating film on the surface of steel. It has excellent compatibility with electrophoretic coatings and powder coatings, so that the paint film has excellent adhesion.
(4) Zinc calcium phosphating solution: Use at a medium temperature of 60-70°C to form a dark gray phosphating film, the thickness of the phosphating film is 4-6um, and the neutral salt spray of the phosphating film can reach 48 hours.
(5) zinc manganese calcium phosphating solution: medium temperature 60-70°C use, the formation of gray black phosphating film, phosphating film thickness 4-6um, phosphating film neutral salt spray up to 48 hours.
(6) Wire drawing phosphating solution: suitable for surface treatment of steel wire before drawing. A dense gray phosphating film can be formed in a short time. The phosphating film has strong anti-rust ability and good wear resistance, and is suitable for deformation processing of steel products. The biggest advantage is the use of a single component phosphating solution, the operator without additives is also easy to control.
(7) pure manganese phosphating solution: high temperature 90-95°C use, the formation of pure black phosphating film, phosphating film thickness 8-10um, phosphating film neutral salt spray up to 96 hours.
